Pool Plant
Our Pool Plant training covers everything swimming pool operators need to effectively maintain a swimming pool, spa or water features. You will learn about circulation, filtration, disinfection, pH correction and heating of pool water which is essential in maintaining safety for pool users. You will also develop skills on how to maintain water that is safe and pleasant to swim in, how to correctly test pool water and understand how to restore poor water qualities to ideal conditions.
International Award for Pool and Plant Operator
This qualification is aimed at learners who work, or will work, in a swimming pool environment, where they will be undertaking daily tasks related to pool water quality, testing, operational monitoring and basic maintenance – lifeguards, pool operators, facility support and managment staff.
The aim of this course is to provide learners with the key knowledge in understanding pool and plant room management, how to test water and manage pool water quality as part of the normal operating functions.
On completion, you will be able to test pool water, understand the factors that contribute to pool water quality, explain to bathers what can affect pool water quality and understand the importance of good hygiene and cleanliness in and around the swimming pool. All successful candidates are encouraged to progress onto the Pool Plant Operators Training.

This is a one day course, delivered at our training establishment in Dubai which has an onsite pool and pool plant room. The theory will take place in a classroom with practical and walk around elements on poolside.
